Located in Sydney’s CBD with work from home flexibility 2 days per week (Mon & Fri), is an excellent opportunity.

THE ROLE:

  • Collaborating with the senior leadership team to deliver strategic initiatives and business performance.
  • Leading the development of annual budget, rolling forecasts and 3-year planning processes.
  • Facilitating the collaboration between the commercial and financial control team to ensure key reporting deadlines are achieved.
  • Consistently deliver leadership and guidance on industry best practice for processes, benchmarks and key metrics.
  • Leading a small, high performing commercial finance team of 3 – guiding and mentoring to ensure correct task prioritisation plans, developing objectives to track the achievement of these plans whilst working together to form strong relationships with key internal stakeholders.

THE CANDIDATE:

To secure this opportunity the ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within a similar senior financial manager position – you understand the importance of delivering high quality insights in a way that is easy for stakeholders to engage with. You have strong business acumen and commercial finance exposure.
  • Relevant qualifications in Finance, Economics or Business and either CA/CPA qualifications (MBA would be great but not essential).
  • Strong technical skills that showcase your ability to produce complex financial data, forecasting & reporting – exposure to TM1, Hyperion or PA would also be great but again, not essential.
  • The kind of personality that genuinely enjoys mentoring your team to get the best out of them – although this team is very cohesive, they will also appreciate someone who can guide and provide advice when needed.
  • The availability to commence ASAP and commit for at least 12 months – the employee benefits are brilliant and although this is a contract, you will still enjoy the benefits on offer. Pre-employment checks will be required.
