Located in the Kings Park area is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Purchasing / Warehouse Officer.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Operations Manager some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Raising purchase orders
  • Stock control of goods inwards & outwards
  • Raising work orders for repairs & preventive maintenance
  • Managing returned and incorrect goods orders to suppliers – obtaining supplier invoice credits
  • Investigating stock discrepancies
  • Managing loan units sent out to customers – ensuring returns are received according to agreements
  • Liaising with freight and delivery companies – obtaining price of delivery (POD)
  • Conducting cyclic and end of year stocktake
  • Assisting with picking and packing when needed – not very often
  • Working with internal teams to provide work in progress status, stock follow up, supplier and spare part updates and general support
  • Assisting with any other ad-hoc duties as requested

THE CANDIDATE:

To secure this role this ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within a similar role where you have worked in a purchasing role that sat within the warehouse – you enjoy the mix of duties
  • The kind of personality that is really organised and loves being on top of stock levels, goods in and out as well as working with internal teams
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
