THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Service Delivery Senior Manager some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Recruit, retain, train and mentor your Team Leaders who oversee their team of roadside patrol officers.
- Managing the performance of the patrol units to ensure the day to day operational needs of the business are being met.
- Analysis of data and reporting to understand what behaviours are driving outcomes and anomalies in order to make necessary changes & recommendations.
- Overseeing workers compensation cases including incident investigations, return to work plans etc.
- Working with your team leaders to ensure they have the structure & guidance needed to bring their best performance possible – ensuring their values align with working in a unionised workforce, working within the confines of the current enterprise agreement.
- Fostering a culture of cross functional collaboration & information sharing.
- Leading regular communication forums.
- Maintaining targeted service level agreements by achieving the optimal cost per job outcome possible.
THE CANDIDATE:
To secure this role the ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience within a similar role which was a mix of operations & service delivery – it’s essential you understand how critical it is to have your field team performing at optimum levels and you love being the person that guides them to that result.
- The kind of personality that is firm but fair – you build relationships quickly but you also hold every team member to the same standard which is critical when adhering to an EA and working with unions.
- Relevant qualifications and/or technical trade skills.
- A highly analytical and data driven mind – you love looking at information that can be used to look at weak spots in service or training and enjoy developing resources to address the issue.
- Experience managing local and regional, remote and unionised work forces.
- A current Class C Drivers Licence with a solid driving record – a driving history check will be completed as will a pre-employment medical check.
- The ability to be out on the road on a ride-along or visiting different regions as needed – a fully maintained vehicle will be provided.
This is an excellent opportunity made available thanks to the promotion of the current FTM. It’s perfectly suited to candidates with experience in the service delivery industry specifically working with techs or agents out in the field.
