Located in Westmead within Ronald McDonald House is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Coordinator.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Head of Family Services, some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and enhancing upon the current volunteer recruitment strategies
  • Researching opportunities to build volunteer database – developing partnerships with organisations & tertiary institutions to promote opportunities
  • Managing the volunteer reward & recognition program
  • Onboarding new volunteers
  • Managing volunteer roster
  • Completing relevant probity checks
  • Ensuring all relevant information is accurately entered into the volunteer database (betterimpact)
  • Attending ad-hoc events when required

THE CANDIDATE:

To secure this opportunity the ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within a recruitment or HR role – you love working and interacting with people. You’re comfortable posting ads to attract new volunteers (SEEK etc) but also chatting to Uni’s & other organisations
  • Strong admin skills – you’re comfortable working with databases, managing your time well with excellent attention to detail
  • The kind of personality that is naturally drawn to people – most of the people you will manage are there because they want to be. You love chatting to all walks of life and helping them slot into a spot that works for both the organisation and them
  • The availability to work in Westmead – this is an operational role and therefore you are required to be onsite each day.
  • A current covid vaccination certificate – essential
