Excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician with industrial experience. 6am – 2pm shift (afternoon shift coming soon). Overtime on offer.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager some of your key duties will include:
- Undertaking general repairs and providing electrical assistance
- Completing a range of maintenance and routine inspection tasks
- Reading and interpreting electrical, architectural, and mechanical diagrams, drawings, and specifications
- Performing maintenance work on electrical systems and equipment
- Conducting fault finding, testing, repair, and maintenance work on electrical equipment
- Ensuring execution of maintenance plan and be able to adjust when required based on production requirements
THE CANDIDATE:
To secure this role the ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 years’ experience working as a professional Electrician within a fast-paced manufacturing or processing facility – you enjoy working in this kind of environment and understand the need for speed and accuracy when attending to a breakdown repair
- Trade Electrical qualification/s and NSW Electrical Licence
- Fault finding experience with VSDs & PLCs (PLC’s not essential but would be great)
- Pneumatics experience is advantageous
- High level of accuracy and good manual dexterity
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams (HMI drawings etc)
- Knowledge of Siemens systems a bonus
- A forklift or EWP license as well as gas or cabling tickets (again, not essential but would be great if you do)

The current shift is 6am – 2pm with an afternoon shift being introduced within the next 3-6 months.
