New opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Officer making outbound calls to clients who need to sign up for a compulsory online portal. Temp until the end of August 2026 at this stage.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Marketing Manager some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working through a list of current clients, making outbound calls to those required by law to transition to a new online portal. The focus of the call is to ensure that they understand how to use the portal and answer any questions.
  • Updating the database to reflect who and who isn’t compliant.
  • Updating client files.
  • Outbound calls to a selected industry group to introduce the business and pass them over to a specialist within the team.
  • Assisting the team with adhoc duties as required.

THE CANDIDATE:

To secure this opportunity the ideal candidate will have:

  • The kind of personality who is happy to make outbound calls to people who are on the go and don’t have a lot of time to chat. You will be dealing with builders and tradies so it’s essential you have excellent communication and can easily explain the purpose of your call.
  • Strong admin and computer skills.
  • A self-motivated and driven work ethic – there is a project to complete and you’re someone who enjoys achieving a goal.

This is a great opportunity to secure immediate work until at least the end of August. It’s predominantly warm outbound calls to existing clients to advise them of recent changes to legislation that is now pushing them towards using a new government portal. It’s a necessary change they have to comply with in order to keep their business going.

You may be looking for an immediate work and are someone who is happy jumping on the phones as you enjoy chatting to people. Or perhaps you are about to finish up a role and you’re keen to get working ASAP.

Flexibility on hours for the right candidate. It doesn’t have to be 9am – 5pm. Work from home flexibility on offer once training is completed and you’re feeling confident.
