Excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician with industrial experience. Monday to Friday rotating AM, PM and nightshift. Overtime on offer.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Engineering Manager some of your key duties will include:

  • Undertaking general repairs and providing electrical assistance
  • Completing a range of maintenance and routine inspection tasks
  • Reading and interpreting electrical, architectural, and mechanical diagrams, drawings, and specifications
  • Performing maintenance work on electrical systems and equipment
  • Conducting fault finding, testing, repair, and maintenance work on electrical equipment
  • Ensuring execution of maintenance plan and be able to adjust when required based on production requirements

THE CANDIDATE:

To secure this role the ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years’ experience working as a professional Electrician within a fast-paced manufacturing or processing facility – you enjoy working in this kind of environment and understand the need for speed and accuracy when attending to a breakdown repair
  • Trade Electrical qualification/s and WA Electrical Licence
  • Fault finding experience with VSDs & PLCs (PLC’s not essential but would be great)
  • Pneumatics experience is advantageous
  • High level of accuracy and good manual dexterity
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams (HMI drawings etc)
  • Knowledge of Siemens systems a bonus
  • A forklift or EWP license as well as gas or cabling tickets (again, not essential but would be great if you do)
